Connect your Dotster domain to Squarespace by following these DNS Connect steps:

Step 1: Start Squarespace Connection

1. Go to Domains panel
2. Click "I already have a domain"
3. Enter your domain name
4. Click "Connect Domain"
5. Select Dotster from dropdown
6. Click "Continue"
7. Keep the DNS records panel open for reference

Step 2: Access Dotster

1. Log in to www.dotster.com
2. Find your domain and click "Manage"
3. Click "DNS and Name Servers" then "DNS Records" tab

Step 3: Add First CNAME Record

• Host: [Unique code from Squarespace]
• Type: CNAME
• Data: verify.squarespace.com
• TTL: 1 hour
• Priority: Leave empty

Step 4: Add Second CNAME Record

• Host: www
• Type: CNAME
• Data: ext-cust.squarespace.com
• TTL: 1 hour
• Priority: Leave empty

Step 5: Add Four A Records Create four A records with these values:

• Host: @
• Type: A
• Data (add one record for each):
  • 198.185.159.144
  • 198.185.159.145
  • 198.49.23.144
  • 198.49.23.145
• TTL: 1 hour
• Priority: Leave empty

Step 6: Wait for Connection

• Allow 24-72 hours for full connection
• Check progress in Squarespace DNS settings
• Look for green labels in Current Data column
• Domain will show "Connected" when complete

Troubleshooting:

• Use DNS Records Checker if "Unable to verify domain ownership" appears
• Contact Dotster support for account-specific issues
• Wait full 72 hours before troubleshooting
• Check DNS Settings panel for verification tool
