
Connect Forms to Zapier: Complete Integration Guide
Automate form submissions in Squarespace by connecting them to over 1,000 applications using Zapier. This integration allows you to create automated workflows when visitors submit forms, saving time and streamlining your processes.
Available integrations include:
- Productivity tools (Basecamp, Trello, Google Calendar, Slack)
- Mailing lists (ConvertKit, Constant Contact, Hubspot)
- CRM systems (Salesforce, Hubspot CRM, Pipedrive, Insightly, Zendesk)
Integration Setup Process:
- Connect Your Form
- Open Form Block, Newsletter, or Cover Page
- Click Edit > Storage > Zapier > Connect
- Wait for the "Waiting for connection from Zapier" message
- Generate API Key
- Access Developer Tools panel
- Click "API keys for developers"
- Generate new key with Forms permission
- Copy and save your unique API key securely
- Create a Zap in Zapier
- Log into Zapier.com
- Click Create Zap
- Select Squarespace as trigger
- Choose "New Form Submission"
- Connect to Squarespace using your API key
- Select your site and form
- Test the trigger
- Configure Action
- Choose desired integration (Slack, Trello, etc.)
- Set up specific actions for form submissions
- Test and activate your Zap
Important Notes:
- Available on Core, Plus, Advanced, Business, and Commerce plans
- Zapier offers free and premium plans (starting at $20)
- Each form requires at least one Zap
- Contact Zapier support for integration assistance
- API keys are site-specific and cannot be retrieved after closing
Once connected, you'll see "x Zaps connected" in your form's Storage tab, where x represents the number of active Zaps.
