Zapier integration enables automated workflows when visitors submit your Squarespace forms. Connect form blocks, newsletter blocks, and cover page forms to over 1,000 applications through Zapier's automation tool.

This integration works with Squarespace's Core, Plus, Advanced, Business, Basic Commerce, and Advanced Commerce plans. Zapier offers both free and premium plans starting at $20.

How Zaps Work

Zaps are automated workflows consisting of a trigger (form submission) and an action. When someone submits a form, you can automate various tasks:

Productivity Actions:

• Add Basecamp to-do items
• Create Trello cards
• Schedule Google Calendar events
• Send Slack notifications

Email List Management:

• Add contacts to ConvertKit
• Update Constant Contact
• Manage HubSpot email lists

CRM Integration:

• Create Salesforce deals
• Add HubSpot CRM entries
• Update Pipedrive
• Manage Insightly
• Generate Zendesk tickets

Setup Process

1. Connect Your Form

• Edit your Form/Newsletter Block
• Click Storage > Zapier > Connect
• For Cover Pages (v7.0), add a form in the Action panel

2. Generate API Key

• Open Developer Tools
• Go to API Keys
• Generate new key with Forms permission
• Copy and save your unique API key securely

3. Create Zap in Zapier

• Create new Zap
• Select Squarespace as trigger
• Choose "New Form Submission"
• Connect using your API key
• Select your form
• Test the connection

4. Configure Action

• Choose destination app
• Set up desired automation
• Common integrations include:
  • ConvertKit sequences
  • Salesforce leads
  • HubSpot deals
  • Slack notifications
  • Trello cards

Important Notes

• Each form needs at least one Zap per action
• Storage tab shows number of connected Zaps
