Customers begin their shopping journey by navigating to your store page through your site's menu. On the store page, they can browse up to 200 products at a time and filter them by category. Products with multiple variants display "From [lowest price]" in the price field.

When customers select a product, they see detailed information including images, descriptions, and available options like size or color. They can add up to 500 products to their cart (150 with carrier-calculated shipping). If they attempt to order more than available stock, an error message displays the maximum quantity.

The shopping cart shows a notification with the total items and cost. Customers can:

  • Modify product quantities
  • Remove items
  • Continue shopping
  • Proceed to checkout

The secure checkout process includes:

  1. Email address entry
  2. Optional account creation/login
  3. Delivery method selection (shipping or local pickup)
  4. Payment information
  5. Optional discount code entry
  6. Order review and confirmation

Important checkout features:

  • SSL protection for secure transactions
  • Multiple payment options (credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Afterpay)
  • Automatic shipping calculations
  • Google address autocomplete
  • Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) for EEA customers

After purchase, customers receive:

  • Order confirmation page
  • Confirmation email
  • Download links (for digital products)
  • Shipping notification (when order ships)
  • Access to order status page

The order status page displays:

  • Order number and total
  • Current status (pending or completed)
  • Shipping tracking (if available)
  • Billing and shipping information
  • Option to create an account

For orders with multiple logistics profiles, customers pay once but receive separate order numbers and confirmation emails for each profile.

Note: If the order status page appears blank, it may be due to custom code interfering with the system. Remove custom code temporarily to troubleshoot the issue.

Customer accounts allow for:

  • Faster checkout
  • Order history access
  • Shipping tracking
  • Account management
