Language and region settings help you customize how your site appears to visitors by controlling language, measurements, and time settings.

Language Settings

Select your site's built-in text language from these supported options:

  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Portuguese
  • Spanish
  • Danish (v7.1)
  • Dutch (v7.1)
  • Finnish (v7.1)
  • Japanese (v7.1)
  • Norwegian (v7.1)
  • Swedish (v7.1)

This setting affects how dates, times, and currency are formatted across your site. For multilingual sites, you can use the Weglot integration (v7.1) to add a language switcher and translate content.

Regional Settings

Control key regional preferences:

Measurement Standard:

  • Imperial
  • Metric (Used for product weights and dimensions)

Country Selection:

  • Choose your country
  • Select state (if United States) (Affects address and phone field formatting in forms)

Time Zone:

  • Set automatically based on IP address
  • Select manually via map or city dropdown
  • Affects scheduling and time-based features

These settings ensure your site displays information in formats familiar to your target audience and accurately reflects your business location and operating hours.

Location of Settings

  • Version 7.1: Find language options in "Site Languages" panel and regional settings in "Regional Settings" panel
  • Version 7.0: All options available in "Language & Region" panel

Make sure to review these settings carefully as they impact how visitors interact with your site and ensure proper localization of your content.
