Creating content-rich Index Pages in Squarespace 7.0 allows you to organize multiple subpages into visually appealing layouts. Here's how to set up and customize your Index Page:
Types of Index Page Designs
Three main designs are available:
- Grid: Creates clickable image tiles linking to subpages
- Stacked: Displays content sections vertically in a scrolling layout
- Slideshow: Shows full-width background images with overlay content

Setting Up an Index Page
- Open the Pages panel and click the + icon
- Select "Index" from the menu
- Enter your page title and save
Adding Content
To add pages to your Index:
- Click "Add Page" under the Index page
- Choose from available page types

- Drag pages to reorder them
Customizing Featured Images
For each subpage:
- Hover over the page title
- Click the settings icon
- Select the Media tab
