How to Set Up Abandoned Cart Recovery to Boost Sales
Abandoned cart recovery automatically sends reminder emails to customers who leave items in their cart without completing the purchase. The email is sent 24 hours after abandonment, helping recover potentially lost sales.

Eligibility for Abandoned Cart Emails:
- Logged-in customers with at least one in-stock product
- Non-logged-in customers who:
- Provide email address during checkout
- Close checkout without completing purchase
- Have at least one in-stock product in cart
Setup Process:
- Activation
- Navigate to Checkout panel
- Enable "Recovering abandoned cart" option
- Email Customization
- Access Customer Notifications panel
- Customize email content
- Send test email to preview
- Performance Tracking
- Monitor abandoned cart metrics
- View conversion funnel analytics
- Track recovery success rates
Important Notes:
- Emails are disabled by default
- No personal information is stored
- Subscription products are excluded
- Customers must re-enter information when returning to cart
- Unsubscribe option cannot be removed or modified
Managing the Feature:
To Restore Defaults:
- Scroll to bottom of panel
- Click "Restore Defaults" (action cannot be undone)
To Deactivate:
- Return to Checkout Settings
- Disable "Recovering abandoned cart" option
