Accepting payments through PayPal requires linking a PayPal Business account to your store. Here's how to set it up and manage it effectively:

Prerequisites:

  • A PayPal Business account (can upgrade from Personal for free)
  • Understanding of PayPal's processing fees (non-refundable for refunded orders)
  • Note: PayPal cannot process subscription products or fixed-value installment plans

Setting Up PayPal:

  1. Connect Your Account:
  • Click "Connect PayPal" in your store payments panel
  • Log in to your business account, upgrade a personal account, or create new one

  • Existing account: Enter email, select country, and log in
  • New account: Enter email, business details, and personal information
  • Select a product category from PayPal's suggestions to avoid connection issues
