How to Report PayPal Malware and Security Issues
Accepting payments through PayPal requires linking a PayPal Business account to your store. Here's how to set it up and manage it effectively:
Prerequisites:
- A PayPal Business account (can upgrade from Personal for free)
- Understanding of PayPal's processing fees (non-refundable for refunded orders)
- Note: PayPal cannot process subscription products or fixed-value installment plans
Setting Up PayPal:
- Connect Your Account:
- Click "Connect PayPal" in your store payments panel
- Log in to your business account, upgrade a personal account, or create new one
- Create or Link Business Account:
- Existing account: Enter email, select country, and log in
- New account: Enter email, business details, and personal information
- Select a product category from PayPal's suggestions to avoid connection issues
- Verify Your Account:
- Check email for verification link (check spam folder if needed)
- Complete verification process to enable fund withdrawals
