Domain names can be displayed with or without "www" (naked domains). This guide explains how to remove "www" from your domain.

For Squarespace-Managed Domains:

1. Access the Domain panel
2. Toggle off "Use www prefix"

For Third-Party Domains:

1. Access the Domain panel
2. Toggle off "Use www prefix"

Important: After making changes, allow 24-72 hours for the settings to take effect across all DNS servers. Once complete, visitors will see your naked domain (example.com) instead of www.example.com in their browser's address bar.

Note: By default, Squarespace domains include both versions, with the "www" version displaying automatically when visitors enter the naked domain.

These changes affect how your domain appears but won't impact your site's functionality or accessibility.
