How to Merge Multiple Squarespace Accounts: Step-by-Step Guide

To merge multiple Squarespace accounts into a single login, follow these steps:

Choose Your Primary Account

  • Select the account with the email address or social media login you want to keep
  • This will be your main account for accessing all sites and domains

Merging Standard Accounts

  1. Log in to your secondary account
  2. Locate all sites and subscriptions in the account panel
  3. Invite your primary account email as a collaborator to each site
  4. Log in to your primary account in a private/incognito browser
  5. Accept all collaboration invitations
  6. Transfer ownership of websites and subscriptions to your primary account

For Unattached Squarespace Domains

  1. Create a new test site
  2. Add payment information to the test site
  3. Contact Squarespace support to transfer the domain
  4. Invite primary account as collaborator
  5. Transfer ownership to primary account

For Connected Squarespace Domains

  1. Log in to primary account
  2. Invite secondary account as admin collaborator
  3. Accept invitation from secondary account
  4. Transfer domain to the website while in secondary account

Optional: Deleting Secondary Account

  • Remove secondary account as collaborator from all sites
