How to Merge Multiple Squarespace Accounts: Step-by-Step Guide
To merge multiple Squarespace accounts into a single login, follow these steps:
Choose Your Primary Account
- Select the account with the email address or social media login you want to keep
- This will be your main account for accessing all sites and domains
Merging Standard Accounts
- Log in to your secondary account
- Locate all sites and subscriptions in the account panel
- Invite your primary account email as a collaborator to each site
- Log in to your primary account in a private/incognito browser
- Accept all collaboration invitations
- Transfer ownership of websites and subscriptions to your primary account
For Unattached Squarespace Domains
- Create a new test site
- Add payment information to the test site
- Contact Squarespace support to transfer the domain
- Invite primary account as collaborator
- Transfer ownership to primary account
For Connected Squarespace Domains
- Log in to primary account
- Invite secondary account as admin collaborator
- Accept invitation from secondary account
- Transfer domain to the website while in secondary account
Optional: Deleting Secondary Account
- Remove secondary account as collaborator from all sites
- Ensure no active subscriptions remain
