
How to Find and Configure RSS Feed URLs in Squarespace
An RSS feed is an XML file containing your most recent content, used by aggregators, feed readers, email subscriptions, and podcast lists. Here's how to find and customize your RSS feed URL.
Basic URL Structure
The RSS feed URL combines three elements:
- Your full domain
- Page slug
- Format parameter (?format=rss)
Finding Your RSS Feed URL
- Site Domain:
- Integrated domain format: sitename.squarespace.com
- Custom domain format: www.yourdomain.com

- Access Pages panel
- Click the gear icon next to the page title
- Find the URL slug in settings

Customizing RSS Feeds
Add Categories:
- Format: ?category=Categoryname&format=rss
- For multi-word categories, use %20 for spaces
- Example: ?category=Modern%20Art&format=rss
Add Tags:
- Format: ?tag=Tagname&format=rss
- For multi-word tags, use %20 for spaces
- Example: ?tag=Happy%20Cats&format=rss

- Use integrated domain for reliability
- RSS URLs are typically hidden from visitors
- Works for Blog Pages, Products, Events, Gallery, and Album pages
- Test URLs by viewing pages while logged out
