How to Enable Squarespace Form Integration with Zapier

Form integration with Zapier helps automate your workflow by connecting form submissions to various apps and services. Here's how to set it up:

Prerequisites:

  • Squarespace Core, Plus, Advanced, Business, or Commerce plan
  • Zapier account (free or premium)

Connect Your Form to Zapier:

  1. For Form/Newsletter Blocks:
  • Click Edit on your form block
  • Select Storage > Zapier > Connect
  1. Generate API Key:
  • Open Developer Tools
  • Click Developer API Keys > Generate Key
  • Check "Forms" permission
  • Copy and save the API key securely
  1. Create Zap in Zapier:
  • Go to Zapier.com and create new Zap
  • Select Squarespace as trigger
  • Choose "New Form Submission"
  • Sign in using your API key

  1. Configure Action Steps: Select your desired automation, such as:

Productivity:

  • Add Trello cards
  • Create Google Calendar events
  • Send Slack notifications

Mailing Lists:

  • Add contacts to ConvertKit
  • Update HubSpot lists

CRM:

  • Create Salesforce leads
  • Add HubSpot CRM deals
  • Generate Zendesk tickets

Verification:

  • Check Storage tab in your form settings
  • Should display "x Zaps are connected"
  • If showing "Waiting for connection," complete remaining setup steps
