A subdomain is an extension of your main domain that creates a separate section of your website. For example, if your domain is "yourdomain.com," a subdomain could be "blog.yourdomain.com" or "shop.yourdomain.com."
Creating a Subdomain
- Access the domain dashboard
- Select your domain
- Click "Website"
- Scroll to "Domain forwarding rules"
- Click "Add rule"
- Enter your subdomain name (e.g., "blog")
- Add the forward-to URL (e.g., "www.yourdomain.com/blog")
- Configure Advanced settings:
- Choose redirect type (301 permanent or 302 temporary)
- Keep SSL On (recommended)
- Click "Save"
