Connect your Crazy Domains domain to Squarespace in 6 simple steps. Keep the Squarespace DNS Settings panel open for reference throughout this process.

Step 1: Start the Connection in Squarespace

1. Open the Domains panel
2. Click "I already have a domain"
3. Enter your domain name and click the arrow
4. Click "Connect Domain"
5. Select "Other" from the dropdown menu
6. Click "Connect Domain" and "Continue"

Step 2: Access Crazy Domains Settings

1. Log in to www.crazydomains.com
2. Click "View My Account"
3. Select "Domains" tab
4. Choose your domain
5. Scroll to "DNS Settings"

Step 3: Add First CNAME Record

• Host: Copy unique code from Squarespace
• Type: CNAME
• Points to: verify.squarespace.com

Step 4: Add Second CNAME Record

• Host: www
• Type: CNAME
• Points to: ext-cust.squarespace.com

Step 5: Add Four A Records Add the following A records with empty subdomains:

• 198.185.159.144
• 198.185.159.145
• 198.49.23.144
• 198.49.23.145

Note: Don't delete existing mail/email records as they control your email service.

Step 6: Wait for Connection

• Allow 24-72 hours for full connection
• Monitor progress in Squarespace DNS settings
• Green labels will appear as records connect
• Final status will show as "Connected"

Troubleshooting If you see "Unable to verify domain ownership":

1. Use the DNS checker tool in DNS Settings panel
2. Verify all A and CNAME records are correct
3. Contact Crazy Domains support if issues persist

Remember: Keep existing mail/email records intact to maintain email service functionality.
