Connect your Squarespace domain to a site while maintaining separate billing settings and permissions.

Prerequisites:

• Domain must be parked
• Website and domain must be on the same Squarespace account
• Administrative permissions required for both domain and website

How to Connect a Domain:

1. Navigate to domains dashboard
2. Click your domain
3. Select Website
4. Click Connect existing website
5. Choose the target site
6. Click Next, then Confirm

Changing Domain Connection:

1. Go to domains dashboard
2. Select your domain
3. Click Website
4. Choose Change connection
5. Pick new target site
6. Confirm the change

Removing Domain Connection:

1. Access domains dashboard
2. Select your domain
3. Click Website
4. Select Change connection
5. Choose Park this domain
6. Confirm removal

Important Notes:

• Cannot link domain to specific pages (forwarding allowed)
• Subdomains are treated as third-party domains
• To reconnect after third-party service use, remove old records and add Squarespace preset
• Request site collaborator access if you have domain access only
• Request domain manager access if you have website access only

Access Requirements:

• For domain-only access: Request site collaborator role with admin permissions
• For website-only access: Request domain manager role

This setup maintains separate billing and authorization while ensuring proper domain-site connectivity.
