
How to Add and Customize Social Media Icons on Your Website: A Complete Guide
Social media is a critical part of any online presence. Adding social icons to your site helps visitors find and follow you across platforms. Here's how to effectively manage social icons on your website:
Adding Social Icons
- Open the social links panel
- Enter your social profile URL or email in the "Add a social link/email" field
- Press Enter
- Repeat for each platform you want to display
- Drag and drop icons to reorder them

- Version 7.1: Always in site header
- Version 7.0: Varies by template
- Social links blocks: Can be added anywhere blocks are supported
- Cover pages: Placement varies by layout
Managing Icons
- Edit icons through the social links panel
- Customize style in the Design panel
- Toggle visibility by checking/unchecking "Show social icon"
- Delete icons by selecting them and clicking "Delete"

For unrecognized URLs, a generic link icon appears. Email addresses display a mail icon.
Note: Icons added before March 21, 2019, through Connected Accounts may need to be removed and re-added to enable full visibility control through the social links panel.
