Flickr blocks allow you to automatically display your latest Flickr images on your website without manual updates. Here's everything you need to know about setting up and troubleshooting Flickr blocks.

Before You Begin Note that Flickr blocks display the most recent images from all your albums - you cannot select specific albums or images to display.

Adding a Flickr Block:

  1. Edit your page or post
  2. Click Add Block or an insertion marker
  3. Select Flickr from the menu
  4. Click the pencil icon to open the block editor
  5. Connect your Flickr account by selecting Add Account or choose an existing connected account
  6. Use the slider to select number of images (maximum 20)
  7. Customize layout and design through the Design tab:
    • Choose between slideshow, carousel, grid, or stack layouts
    • Adjust design options specific to your chosen layout
  8. For version 7.0 sites, click Apply to save changes

Enable Automatic Syncing:

  1. Open Connected Accounts
  2. Select your Flickr account
  3. Check Download Data
  4. Click Save

Troubleshooting Missing Images:

  1. Go to Flickr profile settings
  2. Select Privacy & Permissions tab
  3. Under Global Settings, set Largest shared image size to either:
    • Best display size
    • Large 2048
  4. Disconnect and reconnect your Flickr account

Fix Duplicate or Incorrect Images:

  1. Open Connected Accounts
  2. Click your Flickr account
  3. Select Reset Data
  4. Save changes
  5. Refresh the page with the Flickr block (⌘ + R on Mac, Ctrl + R on PC)
