To export content from Squarespace to WordPress:

Keep your Squarespace site active during the export process to ensure successful content transfer. You'll receive a .xml file that's compatible with WordPress imports.

What Gets Exported:

  • Layout Pages
  • One Blog Page (with posts and up to 1,000 comments)
  • Text and Image Blocks

What Doesn't Export:

  • Album, Cover, Index, Event, Portfolio, and Store Pages
  • Headers, footers, and sidebars
  • Multiple Blog Pages
  • Audio, Product, and Video Blocks
  • Drafts and Style Settings
  • Custom CSS
  • Dropdowns

Export Steps:
