Trackable links help measure visitor clicks and campaign performance. They generate unique URLs that track traffic sources and revenue from specific advertising campaigns, providing detailed analytics in the Traffic Sources menu.

To create a trackable link:

  1. Navigate to Marketing > URL Builder
  2. Click Create URL
  3. Select your target page
  4. Choose your advertising platform
  5. Follow platform-specific campaign setup instructions

Supported Advertising Platforms:

  • Facebook Ads
  • Instagram Ads
  • Google Ads
  • Twitter Ads
  • Pinterest Ads
  • YouTube Ads
  • LinkedIn Ads

Note: Squarespace Analytics automatically tracks email campaigns and Instagram Shopping, so no special links are needed for these.

Supported Link Destinations:

  • Layout pages
  • Collection pages
  • Tags and categories within collections

Limitations:

  • Cannot link directly to individual products or blog posts (use tags instead)
  • Cannot link to pages within an index (link to main index only)
