Upgrade to Squarespace Paid Service: Guide To Switching Plans
Switch from a trial to a paid subscription in just 5 simple steps:
- Verify Your Site
- Access the Main Menu
- Click your profile picture/initials
- Select the correct trial site from your list
- Initiate Upgrade
- Click "Subscribe" in the bottom banner of your browser
- Choose Your Plan
- Compare available plans and features
- Select a plan that matches your needs
- Business plan or higher required for premium features
- Select Billing Cycle
- Annual: Pay yearly, includes free domain for first year
- Monthly: Pay monthly, automatic monthly renewal
- Complete Purchase
- Enter billing address
- Choose payment method (credit/debit card, SEPA, or PayPal)
- Apply any promotional codes
- Review total amount and renewal date
- Click "Confirm purchase"
Important Post-Purchase Information:
Site Visibility
- Choose between private, password-protected, or public
- Enable search engine indexing when public
- Online store becomes active after connecting payment processor

- Custom domains (free with annual plans)

Billing Notes:
- All plans may include applicable taxes
- Currency cannot be changed after first payment

Need to Fix Wrong Site Subscription?
- Locate correct trial site
- Cancel incorrect subscription
- Subscribe on intended site
Remember: Premium features require Business plan or higher. Downgrading to Personal plan will disable premium features.
