Amazon blocks allow you to showcase Amazon products on your site with direct links to their Amazon listings. When visitors click these blocks, they'll be redirected to the product page on Amazon.com.

For Amazon Associates members, you can add your Partner ID to earn commissions on qualifying purchases.

Important Note: Amazon blocks only work with US-based Squarespace sites and amazon.com products.

Adding an Amazon Block:

1. Edit your page or post
2. Click Add Block or an insertion point
3. Select "Amazon"
4. Click the pencil icon to open block editor
5. Search for your product (using ASIN or URL works best)
6. Choose alignment (Left, Right, or Center)
7. Customize display options:
    - Show Image
    - Show Title
    - Show Author
    - Add Buy Button

Adding Your Amazon Associates ID:

1. Open Development Tools
2. Click External API Keys
3. Enter your Partner ID
4. Save changes

Customization Options:

Button Design:

• Modify colors and shapes through Site Style panel
• Matches your site's button styling

Typography:

• Titles: Uses body text font (slightly larger)
• Author text: Matches body text style
• Text size adjustable via Paragraph 2 slider
• Colors align with your site's color scheme

Block Sizing:

• Default width spans entire content area
• Maintains original product image proportions
• Can be resized and repositioned as needed

Editing Products:

1. Open block editor
2. Click X on Selected Product
3. Search for new product
4. Save changes

This integration provides a clean, professional way to showcase Amazon products while maintaining your site's design integrity.
