Sales data and donation information are available in your Squarespace Analytics dashboard through the "Sales" menu, offering essential statistics about revenue, orders, and conversions.
Sales Menu Availability
- Available for all subscriptions
- Website subscriptions require payment processor connection
- Data available since January 2014
- Donation tracking begins June 2024
- Gift card sales shown after order placement
Accessing Sales Data
- Open Analytics menu
- Click Revenue
- Filter by date range
- Select sales channel:
- Website (online store and memberships)
- POS (in-person sales)
- Third-party platforms
- All channels
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Revenue:
- Total sales from orders and donations
- Excludes shipping and taxes
- Subtracts discounts
- Doesn't account for refunds
Checkout:
- Counts successful payments
- Includes physical products, services, downloads, subscriptions, donations
- Excludes invoices, scheduling, recurring subscriptions, gift cards, POS
Orders:
- All completed orders
- Includes subscription and recurring donation instances
- Each membership counts as one order
Conversion Rate:
- Percentage of visits resulting in payment
- Formula: (Payments ÷ Total Visits) x 100
Average Order Value (ABV):
- Revenue per order/donation
- Formula: Revenue ÷ Orders
Revenue Per Visit (RPV):
- Average revenue per visit
- Formula: Revenue ÷ Visits
- Useful for marketing ROI calculations
