Traffic peak and drop notifications help you monitor your website's performance by identifying significant changes in traffic patterns. These insights allow you to understand how different marketing channels impact your site's visibility.

The system uses advanced anomaly detection through machine learning to identify statistically significant traffic changes by comparing current volumes with the past 28 days of data. Traffic must deviate beyond 99% of your normal distribution to trigger a notification.

How to View Traffic Anomalies:

  1. Navigate to Analytics > Traffic
  2. Select your desired date range
  3. Look for pulsating exclamation marks on the traffic chart
  4. Click the warning symbol for detailed information

You can provide feedback on the anomaly detection system by:

  1. Clicking the thumbs up/down button under "Is this helpful?"
  2. Adding specific comments in the feedback field
  3. Submitting your response

The system requires at least 28 days of traffic data to establish baseline patterns and accurately identify unusual changes in your website's performance.
