A Squarespace site can hold up to 1,000 pages across all current plans. However, for optimal performance, it's recommended to stay under 400 pages to maintain fast loading speeds, especially on mobile devices.

Content Limits by Page Type:

Version 7.1

  • Smart designs: Recommended max 250 items
  • Blog pages: Unlimited posts
  • Event pages: 350 events per month
  • Dynamic Editor sections: 100 rows max
  • Gallery sections: 250 images max
  • Store pages: 10,000 products site-wide
  • Video pages: 10,000 videos
  • Album pages: 60 tracks
  • Portfolio pages: 60 projects

Version 7.0

  • Blog pages: Unlimited posts
  • Event pages: 350 events per month
  • Gallery & Project pages: 250 images/videos
  • Index pages: 100 subpages max
  • Store pages: 200 products
  • Cover pages: No official limit

Design Recommendations:

  • Limit dropdown menus to 10 pages
  • Keep page sections under 20 per page
  • Maintain under 60 blocks per page/project

Legacy Personal Plan Limits:

  • 20-page total limit applies to: Design, Album, Blog, Cover, Event, Gallery, Index, Portfolio, Store, and Project pages
  • Excludes: Navigation links, dropdown menus, 404 pages, individual blog posts, events, portfolio projects, product items, shopping cart, and checkout pages
