When activated:

  • "Add to Cart" button becomes "Purchase"
  • Shopping cart and cart icon are removed
  • Customers go straight to checkout after clicking "Purchase"

Important Notes:

  • Not recommended for stores selling multiple products
  • Cannot be deactivated for subscription products
  • Minimum order values still apply during checkout

Troubleshooting Multiple Items Orders:

  • Issues can occur if customers leave checkout to modify orders
  • Original order saves while new items add to total
  • Customers must empty cart to edit total order value
  • Partial refunds available through Cancel and Refund Orders
  • Quantity adjustments possible during checkout if minimum order value isn't met

For best results, use Express Checkout when:

  • Selling single products
  • Focusing on quick conversions
  • Simplifying the purchase process
  • Reducing abandoned carts

To deactivate Express Checkout:

  1. Open the "Cart" menu
  2. Toggle off the "Activate Express Checkout" switch

Note: Consider deactivating Express Checkout when expanding your product catalog to allow multiple-item purchases.
