Private sites are only visible to site owners and collaborators by default. You can add password protection or make it public with a paid plan.

To check if your site is active:

  1. Go to Home Menu
  2. Click Settings
  3. Select Site Availability
  4. Look for "Public" status

When upgrading from trial to paid:

  • Trial sites remain private and unindexed by search engines
  • Only direct links or connected domains provide access
  • Password protection available for selected visitors

For online stores to go live:

  • Connect a payment processor
  • Remove "Payment disabled" banner
  • Enable complete checkout process

Changes requiring save to be visible:

  • Layout Pages
  • Posts, events, and products
  • Page descriptions and settings
  • Style and design changes
  • Content block areas

Changes visible after page refresh:

  • Gallery images
  • Gallery Page media
  • Album Page tracks
  • Navigation menu updates

To maintain privacy after upgrading:

  • Keep site private or password-protected
  • Use Google Search Console to remove indexed content
  • Configure search engine visibility settings

Remember: All changes are saved automatically but may require refreshing to be visible to visitors. For complete site visibility control, regularly check Site Availability settings.
