Before beginning a domain transfer from FastDomain to Squarespace, ensure your domain meets all transfer requirements and verify your contact information is up-to-date.

Step-by-Step Transfer Process:

1. Log into FastDomain

• Access your account
• Navigate to Domain section
• Select the domain to transfer

2. Verify Domain Contact Information

• Click Contacts tab > Admin
• Update contact details if needed
• Save changes

3. Unlock Your Domain

• Click Lock tab
• Select "Unlock your domain"

4. Get EPP Authorization Code

• Click Transfer EPP tab
• Copy the EPP code

5. Initiate Transfer in Squarespace

• Go to Domains panel
• Click "I already have a domain"
• Enter domain name
• Click Transfer domain
• Enter EPP code

6. Complete Registration Information

• Verify contact details
• Update if necessary
• Save and continue

7. Provide Payment Details

• Enter or verify payment information
• Ensure valid payment method

8. Review and Confirm Order

• Check transfer details
• Verify pricing
• Accept terms
• Click Confirm and pay

9. Approve Transfer at FastDomain

• Log into FastDomain
• Go to Domain section
• Click Transfer EPP tab
• Click Approve

10. Monitor Transfer Status

• Check Domains panel for progress
• Refresh status as needed

Important Notes:

• Transfers typically take 5-15 days
• Don't modify DNS settings during transfer
• Wait to add Google Workspace until complete
• Transfer includes one year domain renewal

After Transfer Completion:

• Set as primary domain if desired
• Enable SSL
• Add custom email (if needed)
• Update DNS settings

• Check registration information

• Contact FastDomain support
• Consider connecting domain instead of transferring

The transfer is complete when you receive confirmation from [email protected] and see a green tag in the Domains panel.
