- Access your Domains panel in Squarespace
- Note: This process won't work with integrated domains
Step 2: Point to a Non-Squarespace Site Using CNAME Record
- Navigate to DNS Settings
- Delete existing Squarespace Default Records
- Add Custom Record:

Special Cases:
- For Big Cartel, ClickFunnels, SiteGround, SmugMug, Systeme.io, or Zoho: Add both CNAME record and URL redirection rule
- For different Squarespace sites: Move the domain instead of pointing it
- Cannot point directly to specific pages; use forwarding settings instead
Troubleshooting:
- Allow 24-72 hours for changes to take effect
- Test in incognito window
- Ensure DNSSEC is properly configured
- Verify character limits in registration fields
- Resolve any DNS conflicts before pointing
Note: Changes typically take 24-72 hours to propagate fully across the internet.
