
How to Edit and Customize Your Website Footer - A Complete Guide
A site footer appears at the bottom of every page and typically contains essential information like contact details, social media links, and important site navigation. Here's how to customize your footer:
Adding Footer Content
- Click [Edit] on any page
- Hover over the footer area
- Click [Edit Footer]
- Add content using these options:
- Click [Add Block] for individual elements
- Click [+] to add sections (blank or footer style only)
- Use the pencil icon to style sections
- Click [Save] when finished
Common Footer Elements:
- Text blocks for contact info and copyright
- Social media icons
- Newsletter signup forms
- Call-to-action buttons
Hiding the Footer
To hide on all pages:
- Click [Edit] and access footer area
- Click the trash icon
- Save changes
To hide on specific pages:
- Open Page Panel
- Click settings icon next to page title
- Go to Navigation tab
- Toggle off [Show Footer]
Important Notes:
- Footer content appears on all site pages
- Some templates limit footer columns to one
- Footer content doesn't transfer between templates
- Mobile display automatically stacks content vertically

- You cannot move blocks between footer and page content
