How to Customize Member Sites: A Complete Guide
Members can customize various aspects of their member sites to create an engaging experience for their audience. Here's how to customize key elements:
Member Homepage Customization
To set a new member homepage:
- Open Pages panel
- Find your member site
- Click "..." on the desired page
- Select "Set as Member Homepage"
- Click Confirm
Note: The first page added automatically becomes the homepage. If deleted, the next available page becomes the homepage.
Navigation Options
Choose from these navigation styles:
- Replace main navigation (7.1 only): Shows member navigation at top when logged in
- Show in Customer Account panel: Accessible via Account link
- Do not show navigation: Hidden navigation requiring custom menu creation
Payment Customization
Create custom payment forms to:
- Collect customer information
- Get feedback
- Display Terms of Use
Note: Custom payment forms don't appear for free member sites.
Email Notification Options
Customize these automatic emails:
- Welcome Email
- Cancellation Email
- Customer Account Emails
- Subscription Confirmation (free plans only)
Paywall Customization
Paywalls appear to visitors who:
- Haven't logged into their Customer Account
- Aren't members of the relevant pricing plan
Style customization options are available through the Design panel for all elements including homepage layout, navigation appearance, and paywall design.
