Connect your Network Solutions domain to Squarespace using two methods: Nameserver Connect (recommended) or DNS Connect.

Prerequisites

• Keep default Network Solutions nameservers intact before starting
• Review third-party domain connection requirements

Nameserver Connect Method

1. Open Domains menu and click "Use External Domain"
2. Enter your domain name and click Connect Domain
3. Select "Get Started" in the Network Solutions connection menu
4. Log in to your Network Solutions account
5. Navigate to Advanced Tools > Nameservers > Manage
6. Replace existing nameservers with Squarespace nameservers:
   • connect1.squarespacedns.com
   • connect2.squarespacedns.com
7. Save changes and complete connection in Squarespace

DNS Connect Method

1. Open Domains menu and click "Use External Domain"
2. Enter domain name and select "No, use DNS records"
3. Choose Network Solutions from dropdown
4. Log in to Network Solutions account
5. Follow prompts to complete DNS connection

Connection Time

• Allow 24-72 hours for full connection
• Monitor progress in Squarespace DNS settings
• Temporary errors are normal during this period

Troubleshooting If connection fails:

1. Reset nameservers in Network Solutions account
2. Remove Squarespace nameservers
3. Add default Network Solutions nameservers
4. Disconnect domain from Squarespace
5. Restart connection process

Use the DNS Records Checker tool in Squarespace if domain ownership cannot be verified.
