A properly upgraded Google Workspace plan provides access to advanced features like Google Vault and enhanced endpoint management.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must have a monthly Business Starter/Standard plan or Legacy G Suite Basic plan
- Payment methods other than SEPA
- No pending payments
- Verified domain
- No recent plan transfers
- Active subscription status
- Agreed to Terms of Service
Not Eligible If:
- Using SEPA payments
- Annual subscription started before Dec 1, 2022
- Suspended or expired plan
- Unverified domain
- Recent plan transfers
- Pending payments
Upgrade Process for Business Starter/Standard:
- Access Google Workspace panel
- Click Edit under Plan
- Select new plan
- Review charges
- Confirm changes
Legacy G Suite Basic Upgrade Process:
- Monthly subscribers receive "Upgrade your Google Workspace plan" email
- Annual subscribers receive renewal notice 15 days prior
- Must upgrade to Business Standard or Plus to maintain features
- Follow same upgrade steps as above
