Domain Locked? Quick Guide to Unlock Your Squarespace Domain
Squarespace domains can become locked for two main reasons: failing to verify a new domain within 15 days of registration, or issues with annual registration overview emails for older domains. Here's how to fix a locked domain:
Check If Your Domain Is Locked
Look for a red "Domain Locked" warning in your domain dashboard. If you don't see this warning but your domain isn't working, try clearing your browser cache or disabling browser extensions.
