
Squarespace Commerce: Supported Countries and Payment Currencies Guide
You can sell products worldwide through Squarespace Commerce, but payment processing availability depends on your location and chosen payment processor (Squarespace Payments, Stripe, or PayPal).
Payment Processor Availability
- Stripe/Squarespace Payments: Check Stripe's global page for supported countries
- PayPal: Available in most countries (see PayPal's global page)
- You need at least one supported payment processor to use Squarespace Commerce
Supported Currencies
Major currencies supported include:
- USD (U.S. Dollar)
- EUR (Euro)
- GBP (British Pound)
- CAD (Canadian Dollar)
- AUD (Australian Dollar)
- JPY (Japanese Yen)
Plus 20+ additional currencies including BRL, HKD, INR, MXN, SEK, and more.
Important Currency Notes:
- Stores can only use one currency at a time
- Currency availability depends on your payment processor
- Currency conversion fees may apply
- Some currencies have regional limitations

Key Limitations
- Single currency per store
- Payment processor must support your country
- Some currencies restricted by region
- Conversion fees may apply for cross-currency transactions
To request support for new countries or currencies, submit a support request with:
- Subject: "Currency/Country Commerce Request"
- Your domain name
- Email address
- Desired currency/country support
You can change your store's currency anytime through the Store Payments panel, as long as your payment processor supports the new currency.
