Connect your store to on-demand printing providers and start selling custom branded merchandise without holding inventory. Here's how to set it up:

Available Providers:

  • Art of Where: Leggings, scarves, t-shirts, handbags, notebooks
  • Printful: Custom prints, embroidery, engraved products
  • Printify: Various custom products on demand
  • Printique: Acrylic prints, framed prints, photo puzzles (US/Canada only)
  • Spreadconnect: Clothing and accessories

Setup Process:

  1. Create a Squarespace store page
  • Set up a new store page to display product collections
  • Connect a payment processor
  • Remove any existing products you plan to recreate as print-on-demand items
  1. Connect your chosen provider(s)
  • Go to Extensions panel
  • Search for and select provider
  • Review pricing details
  • Click Connect and Authorize
  • Complete provider-specific setup steps
  1. Add and price products
  • Create products through the provider's platform
  • Set prices to ensure profit margins after production costs
  • Products will sync automatically to your Squarespace store
  1. Configure billing and shipping
  • Add billing method to provider account
  • Set up shipping options in Squarespace
  • Create fulfillment profiles for specific shipping rules
  • Configure tax rates based on your regions

Order Processing:

  • Orders automatically route to printing provider
  • Provider handles production and shipping
  • Order status updates sync to Squarespace
  • Customers receive automated notifications

Important Notes:

  • You can't edit provider products directly in Squarespace
  • Use separate fulfillment profiles for on-demand and regular products
  • Contact providers directly for product-specific support
  • Multiple provider connections are possible for different product types

This setup allows you to offer custom products without inventory risk, as items are only produced after purchase. Maintain proper pricing margins to cover production costs and generate profit.
