Connect your OVHcloud domain to a Squarespace site by following these DNS connection steps.

Before Starting:

• Review third-party domain connection requirements
• Consider domain transfer as an alternative option
• Keep your OVHcloud and Squarespace accounts accessible

Step 1: Initial Squarespace Setup

1. Go to Domains menu > Use a third-party domain
2. Enter your domain name and click the arrow
3. Click Connect Domain
4. Select "Other" from dropdown
5. Click Connect Domain again
6. Note the DNS settings displayed

Step 2: Access OVH DNS Settings

1. Login to OVH website
2. Navigate to Web Cloud > Domains
3. Select your domain
4. Go to DNS Zone > Add an entry

Step 3: Add First CNAME Record

• Host: [unique verification code]
• Type: CNAME
• Target: verify.squarespace.com (add "." at end)
• Keep default TTL
• Save changes

Step 4: Add Second CNAME Record

• Host: www
• Type: CNAME
• Target: ext-cust.squarespace.com (add "." at end)
• Keep default TTL
• Save changes

Step 5: Add Four A Records Create four separate A records with these IP addresses:

1. 198.185.159.144
2. 198.185.159.145
3. 198.49.23.144
4. 198.49.23.145

For each A record:

• Leave Sub-Domain empty
• Add "." at end of each IP
• Keep default TTL

Important Notes:

• Don't delete Mail/Email DNS records
• Keep @ records as specified
• Connection takes 24-72 hours
• Monitor progress in Squarespace DNS settings
• Use DNS entry checker if verification fails

Troubleshooting:

• Wait full 72 hours before troubleshooting
• Check DNS entry checker for specific corrections
• Contact OVH support for account-specific issues
