To set up custom email addresses using your Squarespace domain with Office 365, follow these essential steps.

Prerequisites:

  • Active Office 365 account
  • Custom Squarespace domain
  • Domain not connected to Google Workspace or other email services

Step 1: Verify Domain Ownership

  1. Sign in to your Microsoft 365 account
  2. Add a TXT record to your domain through Squarespace's domain dashboard
  3. Wait for verification to complete (can take up to 72 hours)

Step 2: Configure DNS Records Add the following DNS records to your Squarespace domain:

  • MX records (for email routing)
  • CNAME records (for Outlook and other services)
  • TXT records (for spam prevention)
  • SRV records (for communication services)

Access your domain's DNS settings through:

  1. Squarespace Home Menu → Settings → Domains
