Registration Requirements
To register or transfer a .it domain, you must have a mailing address in one of these regions:
- European Economic Area (EEA) countries
- Republic of San Marino
- Swiss Confederation
- United Kingdom
- Vatican City
Eligible Entity Types
The following entities can register .it domains:
- Italian citizens
- European residents (excluding Italy)
- Italian companies or sole proprietorships
- Italian freelancers
- Italian non-profit organizations
- Italian public institutions
- European corporations/organizations (excluding Italy)
- Other eligible parties in Italy
WHOIS Privacy
WHOIS privacy protection is only available for:

Domain Expiration and Renewal
