Connect your Turbify domain to Squarespace by following these steps:

Before Starting

• Ensure your Turbify plan doesn't include website hosting
• Review third-party domain connection requirements
• You may need to switch to a domain-only plan in Turbify

Step 1: Start Connection in Squarespace

1. Go to Domains panel
2. Click "Use My Domain"
3. Enter your domain name
4. Click "Link Domain"
5. Select Turbify from dropdown
6. Click "Continue"
7. Keep DNS records panel open for reference

Step 2: Access Turbify Account

1. Log in to Turbify
2. Locate your domain
3. Click "Domain" in Control Panels

Step 3: Add First CNAME Record

• Host: [unique code from Squarespace]
• Type: CNAME
• Points to: verify.squarespace.com

Step 4: Add Second CNAME Record

• Host: * (asterisk)
• Type: CNAME
• Points to: ext-cust.squarespace.com

Step 5: Add A-Record

• Host: @
• Type: A
• Points to: 198.185.159.144

Important Notes:

• Don't delete any Mail or Email host records
• Keep empty host records only if they match this guide

Step 6: Wait for Connection

• Allow 24-72 hours for changes to take effect
• Monitor progress in Squarespace DNS Settings
• Green labels indicate successful connection
• Domain will show "Linked" tag when complete

Troubleshooting:

• Use DNS lookup tool if domain shows "ownership could not be verified"
• Check DNS records match exactly
• Contact Turbify support for account-specific issues
• Wait full 72 hours before troubleshooting connection issues

The domain is properly connected when all DNS records are verified and the "Linked" tag appears in your Squarespace Domains panel.
