Move your product inventory seamlessly from other platforms to Squarespace with a simple one-time import process. Here's everything you need to know about importing from Etsy, Shopify, and Big Cartel.

Import Limitations

• Version 7.1: Up to 10,000 physical products and services per Shop page
• Version 7.0: Up to 200 products per Shop page
• Maximum 100 variants per product
• Etsy: Limited to 500 products per import

What Can Be Imported

From Etsy:

• Description
• Images
• Inventory
• Price
• Shipping Size
• Title

From Shopify:

• Description
• Images
• Price
• SKU
• Title
• Variants
• Weight

From Big Cartel:

• Description
• Price
• Product Name
• Images

Import Process

Etsy Import:

1. Add a Shop page
2. Go to Products & Services → Products → Import
3. Select Etsy and click Start
4. Choose destination Shop page
5. Click Start Import
6. Log in to Etsy and grant access
7. Products will automatically publish to selected Shop page

Shopify Import:

1. Download inventory .csv file from Shopify
2. Go to Products & Services → Products → Import
3. Select Shopify
4. Drag and drop .csv file
5. Click Import
6. Find imported products in "Not Linked" section as "Imported Products"

Big Cartel Import:

1. Go to Products & Services → Products → Import
2. Select Big Cartel
3. Enter full Big Cartel URL
4. Click Import
5. Find imported products in "Not Linked" section as "Imported Products"

Important Notes:

• This is a one-time import (no continuous sync)
• Inventory updates don't sync between platforms
• Downloadable products cannot be imported
• For Etsy imports, ensure vacation mode is off
• Different currencies may result in zero product prices
• Tags and categories may need manual setup (especially in version 7.0)

After Importing:

1. Set up your shop completely
2. Review and organize imported products
3. Add tags and categories as needed
4. Configure shipping profiles
5. Set up any subscription products
6. Add product reviews if desired
7. Create discount codes for existing gift card balances
