Connect Network Solutions Domain to Squarespace

Choose between two connection methods: Nameserver Connect (recommended) or DNS Connect. Use DNS Connect if you have custom DNS records.

Nameserver Connect Method:

1. Go to Squarespace's Domains panel
2. Click "Use a domain I own"
3. Enter your domain name and click the arrow
4. Click "Connect domain"
5. Select "Get Started" in the linking panel
6. Log into your Network Solutions account
7. Open Advanced Tools > Nameserver > Manage
8. Remove default nameservers
9. Add Squarespace nameservers:
   • connect1.squarespacedns.com
   • connect2.squarespacedns.com
10. Click Save

DNS Connect Method:

1. Go to Squarespace's Domains panel
2. Click "Use a domain I own"
3. Enter your domain name
4. Click "Connect domain"
5. Select "No, use DNS records"
6. Choose Network Solutions from dropdown
7. Log into your Network Solutions account
8. Click Connect
9. Click Continue in the "Connecting in progress" popup

Wait Time and Verification:

• Connection takes 24-72 hours to complete
• Check progress in Squarespace DNS settings
• Green checkmarks indicate successful connection
• Domain will show "Connected" label when complete

Troubleshooting: If errors persist after 72 hours:

1. Open Network Solutions Account Manager
2. Select domain name
3. Go to Advanced Tools > Nameservers
4. Reset to default Network Solutions nameservers
5. Disconnect domain from Squarespace
6. Reconnect manually

Verification Issues:

• Check DNS record verification tool in Settings panel
• Ensure CNAME and A Records are correct
• Contact Network Solutions support for technical assistance
