Connect your Bluehost domain to Squarespace by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Start Connection in Squarespace

• Go to Domains panel
• Click "I already have a domain"
• Enter your domain name and click arrow
• Click "Connect Domain"
• Select Bluehost from dropdown
• Click "Connect Domain" and "Continue"
• Keep DNS records panel open for reference

Step 2: Access Bluehost DNS Settings

• Login to Bluehost.com
• Find your domain under "Domains"
• Navigate to Advanced Tools
• Click "Manage" next to Advanced DNS Records
• Select "Continue" in the popup

Step 3: Add First CNAME Record

• Type: CNAME
• Host Name: [Copy unique code from Squarespace]
• Alias To: verify.squarespace.com
• Keep default TTL
• Click Save

Step 4: Add Second CNAME Record

• Type: CNAME
• Host Name: www
• Alias To: ext-cust.squarespace.com
• Keep default TTL
• Click Save

Step 5: Add Four A Records Create separate A records with:

• Host: @
• Points to (add one record for each):
  • 198.185.159.144
  • 198.185.159.145
  • 198.49.23.144
  • 198.49.23.145

Important Notes:

• Don't delete email/e-mail records
• Delete any blank host records
• Connection takes 24-72 hours
• Monitor progress in Squarespace DNS Settings
• Green labels indicate successful connection

Troubleshooting:

• Use DNS Checker tool if domain shows "Unable to Verify Domain Ownership"
• Contact Bluehost support for account-specific issues
• Check SSL certificates if encountering security warnings

Remember to wait 72 hours before troubleshooting any connection issues, as DNS changes take time to propagate globally.
