When adding links to navigation, you have several options to enhance your site's functionality and user experience:

External Links

1. Open Pages panel
2. Click + next to desired section
3. Select Link
4. Enter Link Title
5. Input URL in Link field
6. Enable "Open link in new tab" for external sites
7. Click Save

Email Links

1. Choose Email from dropdown menu
2. Enter email address in To field
3. Add CC/BCC if needed
4. Optional: Add Subject and Body text
5. Click Save

Phone Links

1. Select Phone from dropdown menu
2. Enter phone number with country/area code (omit leading 0)
3. Choose Call or Text option
4. Click Save

File Links

1. Select File from dropdown menu
2. Upload new file or choose from Recently Uploaded
3. Enable "Open in new tab" if desired
4. Click Save

Category/Tag Links

1. Use URL dropdown menu
2. Select category or tag
3. Click Save

To Delete Links:

1. Open Pages panel
2. Hover over link
3. Click trash can icon
4. Confirm deletion

Important Notes:

• Links can be added to dropdowns by dragging or using Add Page
• Files will either download or open in new tab based on file type
• Page links are automatically added when creating new pages
• Phone numbers should include country code for international access
• Email links open in visitor's default email client

For mobile users, access these options through the Squarespace app by tapping More > Pages and following similar steps.
