Accepting Apple Pay enables a fast, secure payment option that increases purchase completion rates by 2.6% compared to stores with card payments only.

Apple Pay works automatically with Squarespace Payments or Stripe, with no additional transaction fees. Customers using Safari on compatible devices can complete purchases without manually entering payment information.

Requirements and Limitations:

  • Only works with physical products (not for digital downloads, services, or subscriptions)
  • Order total must be greater than $0.00
  • Customers must use Safari browser with iOS 10, macOS Sierra, or newer
  • Shipping address must be saved in Apple Pay
  • Limited compatibility with free shipping and local pickup options
