Traffic Alerts: Advanced Malware Detection and Monitoring System
Traffic alerts automatically monitor your site's traffic patterns, identifying significant spikes or drops through advanced anomaly detection. This helps you understand how different marketing channels impact your traffic levels and performance.
How Anomaly Detection Works
The system uses machine learning to compare current traffic against the past 28 days of data. Traffic changes must exceed 99% of your normal distribution to trigger an alert. Your site needs at least 28 days of traffic history for the system to establish baseline patterns.
Viewing Traffic Anomalies
- Access the Analytics panel and select Traffic
- Choose your desired date range from the dropdown menu
- Look for flickering exclamation marks on the traffic graph
- Click alert icons to view detailed information

Understanding Anomaly Details
When you click an alert icon, you'll see:
- Date of the anomaly
- Traffic volume during the event
- Top affected pages (up to two) with traffic percentages
- Contributing traffic channels
Using Anomaly Data
Use this information to:
- Identify successful traffic drivers
- Detect drops in channel performance
- Adjust marketing strategies based on insights
- Test different content sharing approaches
The system learns and improves over time as it collects more data about your site's traffic patterns. You can provide feedback on alerts to help improve the tool's accuracy and usefulness by using the thumbs up/down buttons and comment field below each anomaly report.
