Adding Links to Your Site

Create effective website links to guide visitors through your site, external content, email addresses, files, and more.

Types of Links

You can add links to:

  • Pages and content on your site
  • External websites
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Files (PDFs, documents)
  • Collection items
  • Specific sections (anchor links)
  • Gallery images

Adding External Links

  1. Select "URL" in the link editor
  2. Enter the complete URL
  3. Toggle "Open link in new tab" as needed
  4. Press Enter or click outside to save

Internal Page Links

  1. Choose "URL" in the link editor
  2. Type the page title or URL
  3. Select from the dropdown results
  4. Set tab preference
  5. Save changes

Email Links

  1. Select "Email" in link editor
  2. Enter recipient email address
  3. Add CC/BCC (optional)
  4. Set subject line (optional)
  5. Add default body text (optional)

Phone Number Links

  1. Choose "Phone" in link editor
  2. Enter full number with country/area code
  3. Select Call or Text option
  4. Exclude leading zeros
  5. Save changes

File Links

  1. Select "File" in link editor
  2. Upload new file or select existing
  3. Set tab preference
  4. Save changes

Collection Item Links

  1. Copy item's full URL
  2. Select "URL" in link editor
  3. Paste complete URL
  4. Set tab preference
  5. Save changes

Managing Link Behavior

  • Toggle "Open link in new tab" for desired behavior
  • Settings may vary in mobile app
  • User browser settings can override preferences
  • Grid gallery links have separate controls

For broken links or technical issues, check your link URLs and ensure all linked content exists and is accessible.

Remember to regularly verify all links work correctly, especially after making changes to page URLs or site structure.
