Follow these steps to transfer your 1&1 IONOS domain to Squarespace:

1. Log into your 1&1 IONOS account:

• Visit 1&1 IONOS website and sign in
• Navigate to Domains & SSL
• Select your domain to transfer

2. Verify contact information:

• Click Privacy & Contact Details tab
• Check Administrative Contact details
• Update if needed under Domain Contact Details

3. Unlock your domain:

• Go to Renewal & Transfer tab
• Ensure domain transfer lock toggle is gray (unlocked)

4. Get authorization code:

• Click Show Authorization Code
• Copy and save the code securely

5. Start Squarespace transfer:

• Open Domains panel in Squarespace
• Click "Use a domain I own"
• Enter domain name
• Click Transfer domain
• Input authorization code

6. Complete transfer process:

• Review and confirm order
• Accept transfer email from 1&1 IONOS
