Squarespace Payments enables you to centralize your finances in one easy-to-use dashboard. Learn how to get started and begin accepting payments quickly.

To qualify for Squarespace Payments, you must:

• Be located in an eligible country
• Have a Squarespace trial or paid personal plan (or higher)
• Have site owner or administrator permissions

Setting Up Your Account:

1. Open the Payments panel
2. Click "Activate Squarespace Payments"
3. Complete the required information
4. Accept and submit

You'll need to verify your identity and business details during enrollment. The specific requirements vary based on whether you're registering as an individual or business.

Linking Your Bank Account:

• New users must make their first sale before linking a bank account
• First payout occurs 15-19 days after linking your account
• Payouts process Sunday through Thursday (excluding holidays)
• Authentication occurs through Plaid

Accepted Payment Methods:

• Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover)
• Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Link by Stripe)
• Buy now, pay later (Afterpay/Clearpay, Klarna)
• ACH (US merchants only)

Important Notes:

• Each Payments account links to one Squarespace site only
• Must have a physical address (no P.O. boxes)
• Tax forms (1099-K) provided for earnings over $5,000
• Compatible with PayPal as an additional payment method
• International sales supported with multiple currency options

• Monitor payment status in the Payments panel
